The Christmas has done me a solid. lol I am now fighting with the Griffin Montana Mongoose. A fine weapon for the battle ahead. Its smooth yet tough and ready for action. Tied on it a bit Christmas day. Pumped out some midges and a few warm water flies. Can't wait to sit down and rock a proper session.
This weekend i headed up the mountain to rip some turns. Great weather, can't wait for more snow. Pray for the white stuff Whoo Whoo.....

The day started off so well. Got up early, was on the water before the sun came over the hills. Fishing was slow but for the first day of November the weather was perfect. Landed a few fish, one being a pig of a white fish.Fished the last hole with a streamer and got some good hits, but nothing to the net. So around 2:30 i headed 
back to the car. Now here is where things got bad. There is a small waterfall just before the parking lot you have to wade threw. I was thinking "ok don't fall in" We don't need a repeat of three weeks ago. I made it all the way across just fine, easy i was thinking to my self. Well just as i let my guard down the last rock got me. MOSS!!!!!! Fell right on my ass. 
I quickly got back to by feet,checking myself for broken bones. Nothing too bad, Hands bleeding a bit. Where is my rod? I turned And there it was snapped in two floating down the river. Grrrrr could anything get any worse? I slowly walked back to the car to end this Blasted day. Boots off, waders off, oh great!!! right foot is wet. Leaking waders to top off the great day.
